squeaking in a card today. . .

As I was thinking what I could make for the current CDAC Progessive Challenge, and as I reviewed the images that were provided for this round, my thoughts went to a little ty puppy that I saw on sitting on the hospital bed beside my friend. It had been given to him by his nine year old daughter. Picking it up carefully to show me, he said, "She names every dog. This one she has given the name, Cancer Dog." He put it down and patted its head. It was evident that it was a special puppy and he took comfort in having it by his side.

He fought his battle courageously right to the very end. And yet, it wasn't enough. He passed away peacefully Monday afternoon. This card is in memory of him and his family.

Again, some fabulous images were made available by various artists for us to use. I combined two images to create these two friends!! The main puppy image is Bakster Helps from JustSomeLines; the little guy peeking out from behind is taken from the Jens Digi Stamps image that was provided.

Thanks for stopping by.

Blessings to you,
